Markersdorf-Nord is located in the south of Chemnitz. Streetcar line 5 and bus lines 52 and 53 (N15 night service) take you quickly to the city center. Bus route 53 takes you to the TU campus. The residential area can be reached quickly via the Südring. The Chemnitz-Süd junction provides a good connection to the A 72.
The city park is a wonderful local recreation area right on your doorstep and within walking distance.
