VfB Fortuna Chemnitz e.V. and 1. FFC Chemnitz e.V.

Sports bring people together across generations. That’s why we provide targeted support to sports clubs, youth teams, and local sporting events. Physical activity, team spirit, and fairness are values that align perfectly with our cooperative philosophy. We’re also aware that sports clubs are often the heart of a neighborhood, and that it’s not just athletic activities that take center stage. Rather, sports clubs thrive on shared joy, a commitment to a common cause, and collective enthusiasm.

Founded in 2015, the club has become a staple for soccer-loving girls and women in our founding community of Altchemnitz. The club is passionately committed to its athletes, striving not only to achieve success together but also to foster growth and genuine team spirit.
In addition, we have been sponsoring VfB Fortuna Chemnitz e.V. since this year—not only because it is a club with a long tradition in the city of Chemnitz, but also because we are inspired by the team spirit and dedication of its members.

Sometimes it's the mission that counts...

European Peace Ride - Cycling for Peace

We're taking part—in the European Peace Ride! And honestly, we couldn't be more supportive. Now in its 6th edition, the 2026 cycling event stands as a symbol of peace, community, and Europe.
As a housing cooperative, we’re sponsoring the event—because we share these very values. But just watching? That would be boring!
That's why we sent two of our own into the race right away.
Wearing helmets, with all their hearts, and hopefully with enough stamina, they set off—and we’re already really proud that the two of them took part on our behalf, because the European Peace Ride isn’t a race, but a group ride for peace.
In 2026, 200 participants will start together, ride as a single peloton, and cross the finish line together. The three stages covered approximately 500 km with about 6,000 meters of elevation gain, ridden at an average speed of 28 km/h.
