It'll be light out again soon! ✨
Dear neighbors, dear families,
When hundreds of little lights wind their way through our neighborhood on a chilly November evening, it means it’s that time of year again: Our lantern parade is coming up—and we’re really looking forward to it!
When? Friday, November 13, 2026
Meet: starting at 5:00 p.m. | Start: 6:00 p.m.
Where? Markersdorf Oasis
Come on by and enjoy an evening full of warmth, music, and good cheer. A samba group will once again provide fiery rhythms and a great atmosphere—this year featuring „Banda ANIMADA de Samba Chemnitz“ with enthusiastic support from Dresden.
Escorted by the police, we walk through the Markersdorf residential area with our lanterns.
And since moving like this makes you hungry and thirsty, delicious food and drinks will be waiting for you at the Oase before and after the event.
An experience for young and old alike—grab your lanterns, bring your friends and family, and join us. We look forward to seeing you!
